How it works

The HDTV Extender-S sender unit sits next to your computer, set-top box or DVD player source. Cables supplied with the HDTV Extender connect your DVI or HDMI source to the send unit. The HDTV Extender-R receive unit sits next to your HDTV display - up to 150 feet away. The display plugs into the back of the HDTV Extender-R receiver unit. Two CAT-5 cables the HDTV Extender-S and the HDTV Extender-R units to each other.

* - A shielded CAT-6 or CAT-5 cable for video is recommended for distances over 100 feet for optimal video quality. The DDC CAT-5 cable does not need to be shielded.
